MG offers trade-in deals for MG6 range

MG offers trade-in deals for MG6 range Image

MG Motors has launched two generous new initiatives where any roadworthy car with a minimum of two weeks' left on its MOT can get a discount or fuel allowance on the MG6 range.

The Chinese-owned car maker reckons the scheme offers the best consumer value on the trade-in market since the 'scrappage' incentive deal introduced during the 2009 budget.

Consumers who are interested in buying either the Magnette or the GT Fastback from the MG6 catalogue can trade-in any motor, providing it has a 14-day MOT, and get £3,000 knocked off the price of their desired purchase.

A separate scheme also offers interested buyers a fuel card with a redeemable balance of £2,400 to be used at Tesco and Morrison's supermarket filling stations, although the deal cannot be taken alongside the trade-in offer.

Clint Cordle, MG Motor UK's marketing manager, said: "These are both exceptionally good deals on MG6 GT fastback and MG6 Magnette sports saloons which already offer great value for money with high levels of standard equipment."
