There are a lot of rules behind being a driver and towing a load. You must make sure you always have the correct licence. If you check on the Counterpart of your Driving Licence it will advise you if you are permitted to do so. If you passed your test AFTER January 1997 you are restricted to how much weight you can tow.
Never overload your trailer and make sure all objects are secured safely to avoid a collision or obstruction with other road users. Be even more cautious than usual about your fellow motor cyclist too….. Your blind spot will be more restricted so try to drive at a lower speed to avoid any accidents.
You should always make sure that all weight in which you are towing have been distributed evenly. If this has not been looked into the trailer can easily sway when driving or even become unbolted to the car. Make sure you have check all is connected properly!!!
