PEUGEOT HISTORY
Peugeot is part of PSA Peugeot Citroen, a major French car brand, and the second largest car manufacturer in Europe behind Volkswagen. Founded in 1982 by a the Peugeot family, Peugeot took a 30% share of Citroen in 1974 and took it completely over in 1975, forming the PSA Peugeot Citroen.
Peugeot have been prominent in racing history, with entrants in rallying, touring, sports car racing and formula 1. To date Peugeot have 39 different car models on the market.
