MANUFACTURER OVERVIEW
MG is a British sports car brand, founded in 1924 by William Morris and Cecil Kimber which is no longer in production.
British Aerospace in 1988 bought MG and then was sold to BMW in 1994. However, BMW sold the brand 2000 and MG became part of the MG Rover Group. The group went into receivership in 2005. The MG range was re-launched in the UK in 2008 after some redevelopment over the 3 year gap.
There are 53 different branded MG's that have been released through production.
