MANUFACTURER OVERVIEW
Chrysler was founded by P.Walter in 1925. The company is based in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The Chrysler was one of the first cars built to be more affordable to the everyday consumer.
In the 1960’s Chrysler expanded into Europe, attaining a majority interest in the British Rootes Group, Simca of France and Barreiros of Spain to form Chrysler Europe.
In February 2008, Chrysler reduced its product line from 30 to 15 models. The group also now collaborates with Tata Motors limited of India and is said to be in talks with Fiat.
