MANUFACTURER OVERVIEW
Bentley is an English manufacturer of luxury cars founded by Walter Owen Bentley in 1919. However, since 1998 the company has been owned by Volkswagen. The Rolls-Royce Bentley relationship has been one that has continued throughout the car manufacturer’s history. BMW were also involved, having provided engines for Bentley until this ceased in 2003.
Bentley has 35 cars in their line, many of which are still bought and sold today.
Bentley is seen as a status symbol of wealth and notability. The pinnacles of which being that Bentley supply the Queens car.
