The used Renault Clio first began production in 1990, and is an offering from the French car maker Renault. There are to date three generations of used Renault Clios, and the used Renault Clio is given credit for rejuvenating Renault in the late 1980s.

As Honda owns the rights to the name ‘Clio’ in Japan, the used Renault Clio is known as the Renault Lutecia. In areas where sedans are preferred to hatch backs, a saloon model of the used Renault Clio with four doors, called the Clio Classic, Symbol, Sedan, Tricorps and Thalia, is marketed.

The used Renault Clio is a zippy little car, perfect for city driving and parking. A used Renault Clio can squeeze into spots many other cars might find difficult. Available in a three or five door hatch, the used Renault Clio is still being manufactured today in the latest generation. When purchasing a used Renault Clio, it’s best to take it for an extensive test drive in areas you’d be driving yourself.

There’s little point test driving a car in flat areas, for example, if you live in a hilly suburb. Generally, the smaller the engine the slower the pickup from the lights, so this should be kept in mind.
