When you are about to buy a used Volvo car for sale from a used car dealership entity, you need to be prepared with the right questions so that you are not ripped off and the dealer also becomes aware that you have some knowledge and it would not be easy to take you for a ride.
Some of them are as under:
a) Show me the pre-certificate inspection report of the mechanic in case the car has been certified.
b) The history of the car purchase or tracking of who was the seller to the dealer along with any maintenance reports. If the dealer is not comfortable about showing it, the name and address can be blocked. However, if it has been bought at an auction, then make sure a known mechanic inspects the car in detail to avoid any problems in the future.
c) Who has certified the used car as unless it is done by the manufacturer, it is of little value and could have been doctored.
d) What is the period or mileage for which the dealer will allow you a test drive? Of course, from you side, you need to return the car in the condition it was and that means paying for the fuel and having adequate insurance backing you.
