Once you have decided to approach used car dealers to source the used Bentley car that you wish to buy, then you must do the following:
• Be clear about the upper limit of money you would like to spend on the purchase and tie up funds accordingly. Do not change this and get sucked into the sales pitch of the used car dealer.
• Ensure you do a thorough check with known people, local dealers about the kind of car options and rates they are willing to offer. Use the internet to know about the various offers being displayed and pick up cues from them.
• Take along a friend knowledgeable about cars and preferably somebody who has had past experience negotiating with dealers as they can be tough nuts to crack and can easily sweet talk into buying something you may not have envisaged.
• Scrutinise all the paperwork and documentation related to the car you show an interest in.
• Take a test drive to finally see if you are comfortable with the handling of the car
• If you have liked the car, do an HPI check to verify that the said car is not a stolen one.
