Used UK Car Market - Better demand trend anticipated in 2010

The used UK car market does not seem to be getting into any sort of a decline if one goes by recent articles published in leading auto trade magazines. Statistics show that the demand trend in the used UK market is going to stabilise and as a consumer, you cannot hope for any major dip in prices or need to be wary that they will spike up abruptly.
Demand for some of the popular brands like the Audi car for sale or the BMW car for sale is likely to be tight though and if you happen to find them expensive, you would have to compromise on the brand and settle for something lesser known.
Some of the other facts thrown up by these articles are as under:
? While the cost of trucks and heavy vehicles went up by close to 16%, the cost of cars went up by only 3.7%
? The used car market saw a 34% jump in sales over the previous month indicating that the worst may be over and served to compensate to some extent, the disastrous 40% decline the month before.
