When you are about to buy a new car or a second hand car for sale, you as a customer is entitled to a test drive. It is however important for you to know what to check for when you take the second hand Audi car for the test drive. Do not allow the sales rep or the private owner to dictate terms and trust your instinct.
If at any time of the test drive, you do not get a comfort feeling, you are at liberty to walk away from the deal and not feel obliged to complete the transaction just because you asked for a test drive. It is also important for you to go with a mindset that does not do fault finding and if you do come across certain deficiencies, make a note of them so that you can ask your mechanic to work on them to your satisfaction.
Before setting out on the test drive, map out the route so that you are not driving aimlessly. It is best to drive in both crowded as well as empty roads to get a good feel of the car in such conditions.
