Hyundai UK has teamed up with the online remarketing firm Autorola in order to give its car dealer network an online system for the selling of duplicate, non-franchise and over-age vehicles. The new system, which is known as Hyundai Auto find, has opened up dealer stock to the entire network of trade buyers that work with the firm.
The system, which went live on the 9th January, is intended to help to free up dealer cash a lot faster and more efficiently in order to be able to assist them to build up a stock of vehicles that are ideally suited to their individual selling strategies. Autorola monitors the process at every stage from checking on the accuracy of the original description of the vehicle to generating and managing all the paperwork for the sale.
"We have been working with Autorola for a few years now and the development of Autofind will help dealers achieve a fast and efficient sale online for unwanted stock" says the Remarketing Manager of Hyundai UK, Gary Spurdens, adding that used cars are a very important aspect of the strategy of Hyundai UK for moving forward into the future and he expressed a desire for the site to be able to streamline dealer strategies.
In December 2011, Autorola suggested that the United Kingdom was set to become one of the largest growth markets for the sales of used cars throughout 2012, as well as predicting that "business to business" sales would double over the course of the next five years.
