The entire process of buying or selling used cars is no longer as tedious as it used to be. Previously, you had to place ads in the print medium, leave word with the neighbourhood dealer, and put a placard on your Mitsubishi used car indicating that you wished to sell your car. You then had to wait till people responded to your ads, speak to them, shortlist the serious ones and then hope to conclude the transaction. All this used to take an inordinately long time and led to situations where those seeking to buy a new car often felt it was better to trade in the existing one rather than go the distance on trying to sell it. In the bargain, they often ended up losing valuable money as the trade in offers are never seller friendly and the new car dealer would always pay much less than what the car deserves. Maybe they know that the seller is desperate and would naturally try to take advantage of the situation.

The process is not very different now but has been simplified to a great extent due to the internet. Now you can place your ads along with pictures and even video clips of your car on the internet and reach across to a much wider audience. The time to conclude the transaction is also a much shortened one.
