Auto used cars

A used car purchase is certainly something you cannot take very lightly since you do not want to inherit any problems associated with the Ssangyong used car you are about to purchase.
So if you wish to conduct a DIY inspection, what are the things you should be checking is what is mentioned below.
• Body rust is the main concern when it comes to used cars. So you should check the inner wings, chassis members as well as the bulkhead thoroughly.
• The under car is one area which is also highly susceptible to corrosion and rust. Do examine the cross members, side sills and sub frames. If you do find something fishy, exert a little pressure with your palm and if it seems to cave in, that means the metal has weakened.
• Check if the brake pipes are free of rust.
• Check the steering mounts as well as the suspension for any signs of rust.
Coming to the engine, the first thing to check for is the oil. If it is dark, it means that recent servicing has not been done and if it is beige coloured as well as thick, it means that there is some leakage problem with the gasket.
