Geneva Motor Show 2011

The annual Geneva Motor Show is upon us once again and we wanted to share with you the cars that have already caught our attention and look set to impress the thousands of visitors that will attend the show.

Audi A3 Concept

Maybe the car that has stolen the show so far; The Audi A3 Concept will become a production car and is likely to closely resemble the car on show. This will be the first time the A3 becomes available as a saloon and reports suggest that the price will start from between £18,000 - £25,000. The concept car on show had a 2.5 litre engine which produces 400bhp and a 0-62mph speed of around 4 seconds. It will be interesting to see what the final production version offers as a range of engines.

Ferrari FF

Ferrari has revealed an usual car this year in the FF. Set to replace the outgoing (and rather boring) 612 the FF will certainly be different. The FF is a four-wheel-drive, four seater powered by a 651bhp V12. The 0-62mph is claimed to be less than 4 seconds and with a top speed of over 200mph, this looks like a very exciting four seater supercar

Lamborghini Aventor LP700-4

0-62mph in just 2.9 seconds, 217mph top speed and named after a courageous bull, the Lamborghini Aventor LP700-4 has to be one of the most outrageous cars at the Geneva motor show. This stunning vehicle keeps to a similar style to the latest Lamborghini´s but with the high specifications and incredible speeds it will be their flagship product.

Pagani Huayra

When a car is likely to cost nearly £1,000,000 we expect something pretty special. Pagani haven´t disappointed either. The Huayra is a 700bhp supercar which will get from 0-62mph in just over 3 seconds. The really impressive figure is the top speed though which is claimed to be 235mph. The Huayra is the Zonda F replacement and is sure to be a highly popular car for the lucky few that can afford it

Mini Rocketman Concept

Mini has produced a concept car which really is mini. This car is going back to its roots and will stand at 11ft 3in long, which is just 1 foot longer than the original. Some of the latest Mini´s have pushed the name to the boundary and so the new concept is likely to win over some fans that are still passionate about the original. The concept also shows off some cool design ideas including the double hinged doors and the Union Jack roof, which shows off structural beams on the panoramic roof in the shape of the Union Jack.

Alfa Romeo 4C Concept Car

Alfa Romeo has released the 4C concept car. The 4C is already set for production although the total number to be made will be around 1500. This baby Alfa looks great and should be a lot of fun to drive. It should hit 0-62mph in under 5 seconds with a top speed of over 155mph. The mid mounted engine will produce 200bhp from a 1.7 turbocharged engine. The concept car is only 850kg giving it superb power to weight ratio. It will also be modestly priced at £35,000, in an attempt to take on the Porsche Boxster.
