Ford Sales Continue to Grow

The auto sales figures released by the society of motor manufacturers and traders (SMMT) this morning have shown that within the last 12 month Ford have managed to sell over 176,492 models, 18,442 of which are from July 2010. This means that 12.1% of all motor sales this year have been one of Ford´s models.

The over whelming demand for the Fiesta via car buyers throughout the world has no doubt contributed to this tremendous success, with the car officially ranked the best selling car of 2010, with another member from the family as close runner up, the almighty Focus.

Considering the current economic climate in the UK, Ford has taken a big risk by slashing its prices on its range of models by a whopping 11%. It seems that the plan has indeed worked to their advantage with showroom sales going through the roof.

Ford has announced that the result have made them confident to follow through their plan of continuing their price cut on all their models (Fiesta and Focus included) this month, and the best part is that they are likely to be permanent.

Ford certainly have no intention in letting anything get in their way now, with a new sales plan they are well on their way to market domination, with the ultimate goal of providing their customers with the most technically advanced, practical and comfortable vehicles that money can buy.
