Having casually mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I’ve never driven a Nissan GT-R, guess what I’ve got the keys to all bank holiday weekend…
I’ve literally only driven it from Harpenden to Hemel Hempstead so far, but I have two immediate observations.
Yes, it is stupendously fast. But more curiously, I also appear to be allergic to whatever’s been used to clean the steering wheel.
As you can just about see, it’s actually brought my hands out in a weird kind of rash. This is a bit unexpected. But I’m going to persevere. I won’t reveal exactly what I’m going to be doing with the car tomorrow just yet, but if you see a bright red GT-R being driven by a chap wearing an inappropriate pair of gloves don’t be too harsh on me.
As it happens, if you do see me tomorrow, that will probably be the last thing that catches your attention.
Stay tuned.
