You won't find much about fuel-cell electric vehicles in the latest publication boosting electric vehicles, but if its got a plug and rechargeable battery it's likely included in the 46-page "Charged Up and Ready To Roll" being published today by Plug In America.
The booklet contains articles on EV and battery technology, renewable energy, choosing an EV, buyer incentives, and more, and contains a listing of present and soon-to-be-launched plug-in hybrids and battery electric vehicles - with two, three and four wheels and both factory-built and after-market conversions.
One handy feature is a selective list of EV resources, including educational opportunities and career training, manufacturers, news and opinion sites and and even a short list of music about EVS.
The nationwide advocacy group says it will sell print copies for $8 via its Website, or will provide a downloadable on-line copy to Plug In America members - new and old. Annual memberships are $25.
Zan Dubin Scott, a spokeswoman for the group, says "Charged Up," subtitled "The Definitive Guide to Plug-In Electric Vehicles," will be periodically updated as new models and technologies are introduced.
