Norway's Think may also be Indiana's Think, and soon.
The EV maker, whose Think City is now being built for European distribution, wants a U.S. site and since emerging from bankruptcy with new capital last year have been eying several Midwestern locales.
We reported back in November that Indiana was high on the list and now Automotive News (subscription only) reports that there's a Jan. 9 pubic hearing in that state to consider a 10-year tax abatement incentive for a Think factory in Goshen.
Papers filed previously in Elkhart County say that Think would invest nearly $25 million in a new plant. The company wants to build as many as 60,000 cars a year in the U.S.
