You may recall back in '08 when Kobe Bryant went viral for Nike with his jump over an Aston Martin that appeared to drive right at him. As you also know by now, it was just an optical illusion; Kobe was next to the car and not in front of it. The stunt was part of the marketing campaign for the Nike Hyperdunk basketball shoes Kobe endorses.

For some reason, Nike apparently thinks people still care enough - around two years later, no less - to shell out $700 for limited-run Hyperdunk Kobe Bryant Aston Martin Edition sneakers via retailer OSneaker.com. Nike's production run will accommodate just 500 suckers collectors. Act now. Or better yet, don't. Top tip, Derek!
