That a driver's chief rival is his teammate is one of the most pervasive and enduring truisms in grand prix racing. And lest we forget, constant reminders of this accelerate into view throughout the season. This one especially.



Whether the rivalry is between McLaren's "dream team" of world champions; the returning champion and his young wingman at Mercedes; the ascendant frontrunners at Red Bull; or the hot-blooded duo at Ferrari, we're certainly not lacking for examples, without even dipping into the deep well of motor racing history.
