Bentley is set to launch a high performance speed model of its Continental GTC convertible. The prototype of this beauty was seen lapping the Nurburgring. The Continental GTC Speed is set to follow other speed versions; being a 6.0 litre V12 upgraded to 600bhp with revised radiator and air intakes, as well as an exhaust pipe and unique 20in multi-spoke alloys.
The engine upgrade of 50bhp should take the Bentley beast to reach 60mph in 4.5seconds before setting on its trail-blazing path to a huge 200mph top speed. All of which is pretty impressive for a 4-seat convertible.
The coupe and flying spur saloon versions of the continental also both have speed models, costing an extra £17,000 on top of the basic models. Launched in 2009, this Bentley will set you back £149,000.

The next Ferrari F430 is set to be released in late 2009, early 2010, known in Maranello as the F142.
This version will be slightly smaller and slightly lighter. There will be no soft top available for the consumer but it will be available with a quick, compact, power operated top which is a mix of purspex and the rest painted in the body paint colour, simply put, the F142 will be a CC coupe-convertible.
This a lighter and faster model with good performance and handling. For those petrol heads out there, there may be some changes made including, semi-active aeodynamics, brake energy tapped for torque loss compensation during upshifts, a compact pushrod suspension and a ballistic valve train for extra high-end grunt.
